Updates December 2022
Our first company year is coming to an end. Besides the implementation of numerous customer projects, we were also able to extend our benchmarking platform and website.
All changes as well as the current list of supported and integrated database management systems and Database-as-a-Service products are summarized here.
Credits-based Pricing Model
The benchmarking platform for experts has been extended to include a transparent, credits-based pricing model. This means that the costs per performance measurement are calculated and displayed during the configuration process.
Depending on the (cloud) resource size, number of database nodes and workload intensity, a performance measurement costs a different number of credits.
Credits can be ordered by logged-in users. These are then credited to the account and can be used for all measurements.

More & Outlook
In addition to the previous changes and enhancements, numerous bug fixes and usability improvements have been made. Besides the constant enhancements of the public Database Ranking we have also added a lot of additional content to our website:
- FAQs
- a click flow for a project request on the homepage
- archiving of old benchmarking projects
Furthermore, we are currently working intensively on the finalization of our latest product - the DBaaS Navigator. This will be published in mid/end of January. More details in a separate news article.
